Great museum!! Dec 07, 2010
The museum is connected to the church of Sao Roque (see my other review!) and is well worth the visit. Entrance fee is 2.50 Euros and offer very good value for money in my opinion.

The collection holds a fascinating array of artefacts that date from the sixteenth century onwards. A particular highlight is the gold and silver work which just drips with wealth and ornate artistry.

The museum is neatly divided into several sections which are very easy to go through. The reception desk provides you with a map and a basic guide. Toilets are downstairs too.

The pieces in this museum are well worth a look and I think it's a great pity that more people do not make the effort to see it.

I love those museums with low entrance fees.
