First Religious Building in Queretaro Oct 02, 2010
The former convent of San Francisco currently houses the Regional Museum, one the most remarkable and beautiful colonial halls I've seen in Mexico. This convent was the first religious building to be constructed in the city of Queretaro. Inside the walls is a wonderful courtyard.

This Museum was fantastic, I had most of the exhibitions to myself, surprising this was to me as this was only a few days before Independence Day, I was expecting much bigger crowds.

Too bad, yes I'm sure you would enjoy it as much as I did.

I should love to see this but, sadly, North America is prohibitive for over 65s with a pre-existing medical condition.
