Museo Ex-Hacienda San Gabriel de Barrera is a 17the century place located diagonally opposite to Hotel Mission Guanajuato entrance in Guanajuato, Mexico. This is a well restored and maintained house of a wealthey person named San Gabriel de Barrera of 17th Century. The flow of viewing these gardens are marked with arrows and following the same will take us through the entire garden.
This museum has 17 different style gardens like English style, Romanian style, Mexican style, Spanish style etc.. and thee house articles represents thee wealthey person lifestyle in 17th century. An interesting place to visit and absolutely recommended for garden lovers.
Entrance fee is around 3USD and an extra fee of 5USD for cameras. Opens between 9AM and 6PM. This complex has a coffee shop, restaurant and souvenir shop. Also I have seen a dinner withe musical orchestra is happening in one of these gardens.
