Definitively a place to visit if you like Frida Kahlo Aug 07, 2009
This museum features an interesting collection of Frida Kahlo's paintings.

This museum is located in the house of Dolores Olmedo, a personal friend to Frida Kahlo. The first thing you will notice as you enter is the large gardens and most importantly, the mexican dog "Xoloizcuintle", which are notorious for their lack of body hair.

Anyway, once you get inside the museum, you can see some of the work of Frida. I wasn't allowed to take any pictures inside, but the experience was good. They also have a Diego Rivera collection and a number of other items from the personal collection of Ms. Olmedo.

You can have lunch at their delicious restaurant and walk the gardens next to the fanciest peacocks.

It's a great choice to spend a nice afternoon.
