Tower view of Lucerne Oct 06, 2015
The Musegg Towers are a collection of individual watchtowers (9 in total) in Lucerne stretching from the west to the east making it a strategic vantage point since 13th century. It provided a view of the city below all the way to the surrounding countryside. It was quite a walk up from the old town but it was worth it.

Each tower is named as follows:

The Nolli Tower

The Mannli Tower

The Luegisland Tower

The Heu Tower

The Zyt Tower

The Schirmer Tower

The Pulver Tower

The Allenwinden Tower

The Dachli Tower

Wear comfortable shoes and take your time going up the stairs and walking on this long tower. The view is just amazing! I could even see the boat/ ship quay is (where the main train station is) from up here.
