Musée des Arts Décoratifs Bordeaux Reviews
Classical French 18th century decorative art museum Dec 28, 2008
Situated in a nice mansion, the Hotel de Lalande, built in 1779 by Etienne Laclotte for Pierre de Raymond de Lalande, member of the Bordeaux's Parliament, this Museum displays on a three-storey building a collection of paintings, furniture, ceramics, glassware, jewellery, everyday objects of the 18th and 19th centuries.
You can find again there in the wood-panneled saloons the atmosphere of a rich Bordeaux's house of the 18th century.
The visit of the permanent collection is free
The fee for the temporary exhibitions(actually Decorative Art of 20-30 )is 5 euro
