Musée Rodin Paris Reviews

This is one of my favorite museums in Paris. It features a large-sized

collection of sculpture by Auguste Rodin, one of the most famous

sculptors in recent times. The museum actually consists of two parts.

The indoor portion houses most of the work on two floors of space. The

outdoor portion is a beautiful, peaceful garden in which you can wander

around and admire some of Rodin's larger works in a natural setting.

Recently (in July 2005) they were doing massive construction of some

sort in the garden, which slightly spoiled the tranquility of the

setting, but hopefully that is finished by now.

If you are exhausted from waiting in the long lines and dealing with

the packed crowds at the Louvre and Orsay, come here and relax in the

garden for a good break. It's a lot cheaper, and far less touristy,

than most of the other museums in Paris.
