Musée Marmottan Monet Reviews

Aug 27, 2003
The best museum I've been to. Some museums, like the Louvre, just inundate you with material until you can't understand why its art anymore. This place was small, just 4 rooms, and really gave you a chance to see Monet's pieces. It actually felt normal to wander around, spending 4 minutes just staring at a work and really understanding impressionism and why it exploded as an art scene. It was great to see all us tourists actually taking in some culture.
