Essential for the comic fan Oct 24, 2012
I grew up with Tintin comics, and this place was almost a pilgrimage back to childhood for my sister and me. The museum is extremely well designed and presented, with detailed written and audio material is multiple languages. There are a number of hands-on and interactive displays for children, as well as historical and cultural background that adults will find fascinating.

Hergé was a brilliant and complex man, who produced much more than Tintin. His life, work, and values are examined thoughtfully and fairly. It was a bit more information that I could absorb in one visit, but the museum is so visually pleasing that even if you don't have the energy or interest to learn every detail about Hergé, you'll still enjoy the experience.
