Murmansk Vacation Guide
Murmansk,this bizzare place,is situated at the northwest of Russia,at the Kola Peninsula.It is also an important russian Navy base,so in some places no photos are allowed.
If you close your eyes and think of Murmansk,the picture you will have,will be of a large,empty,grey city ,as the buildings are big and with a lot of spare place between them,and fog covers the harbour.But it is more alive and pleasant and green than you think!
As it is above the Arctic circle,you can enjoy the northern lights in winter and the polar day in summer!Usually you will also enjoy fog and rain,and temperatures not above 15C in summer!
It is surrounded by a great number of lakes and forests,so a trip to the nature is more than compulsory!!
Oh,and if you are a fan of Artemis Fowl series,then you will know that Murmansk was one of the settings of the "Arctic Incident"!!
So if you want to live your arctic-russian experience,the friendly people of Murmansk are waiting for you!!
