Murchison Falls National Park is the largest National Park in Uganda, it was named after the mighty Murchison Falls which makes the legendary Zambezi look smaller. Murchison Falls Park is the location where the world's longest river (the White Nile) explodes violently through a narrow cleftin of the northern rift valley escarpment plunging into a 43 meters pool below. This national park is home to wildlife animals like elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Antelopes, Lions, Crocodiles to mention but a few. It is located in Noth Western Uganda approximately 90 kilometers from Masindi town. Game viewing safaris run from Uganda witha standard 3 day safari being themost popular of all.
