Munduk Waterfall Jun 20, 2013
Munduk Waterfall took us long time to find. This was the occasion when people actually sent us the wrong way. When you are climbing the slopes of the volcanoes, some signs show direction of the waterfalls but they are all treacherous small roads. Right way to do it is to go directly to the Munduk village and follow the signs from there. Main waterfall is magnificent and large. Shear water dust can blow you away if you come too close to the water. We saw only one small tourist group but aside of that no one was around. Path is good and covered with concrete. Some locals use it with their motorcycles, but it is very steep and I am not recommending it. Around kilometer away from the falls there is another beautiful waterfall at the coffee farm complex where you can also eat. Food is good but it is double the price from the area restaurants. Entrance to the falls is 2000 and parking is around the same price.
