Mundo Churrasco Brisbane Reviews
Tender and tasty meat Brazilian style in Brisbane @ Mundo Churrasco Oct 09, 2010
Juicy and Tender are the words that come first to my mind when I think about a Churrasqueria - or place selling Brazilian BBQ. I have gone to a Churrasqueria twice in Brazil, but never outside Brazil, so when they asked me if I'd like to try one in Brisbane, of course I was in!
The concept is the same. You pay a fix amount (which is not cheap but considering you can eat as much as you want and it's high quality it's worth it) and they bring to your table as much meat as you want / can eat.
The meat is just roasted and the only condiment they use is salt. The waiters come with skewers with different cuts of meat and you can choose the one you prefer and also if you want it medium rare or well done. There are lamb, beef, chicken and sausage.
They also provide sides such as cheese bread, fried yucas and potatoes, potato salad, salsa, farofa and veggies. There's also a vegetarian option, but when you are in Rome...
And to make the experience even more real, have a caipirinha! The Brazilian drink!
Regarding the atmosphere, this is nice and the music you can listen too is Brazilian. Most of the staff is Brazilian and very friendly too.
Not cheap, but worth it to splurge yourself and try something new.
