You know that place, opposit Munchkins is the British Museum Oct 31, 2009
It was almost full, but we could sit inside and outside(! it was a nice autumn day)

We were seated and wanted to have coffee and something to eat.

I had a grand café and my wife took the hot chocolat. She wanted a tosti (but how do you explain bread roasted together with cheese and ham) and I had the vegitarian quiche and salad.

We both enjoyed sitting (!) and eating.

The staff -they occupy 10 former miss Londoniums- were friendly and helpful.

Next visit I might come back:)
Sitting inside, catching the name:)
My Quiche and salad(s)
A nice cup of coco

Cheap Eats by Bristish Museum Nov 15, 2008
After a long day of exploring the British Museum, most travelers tend to eat inside the museum cafes or head straight to some restaurant. After you leave the museum, cross the street and turn right. Walk a a few more minutes and you see Munchkins. It's funky decor and rushed of waiters twirling around for orders is what greets up. The food is definitely reasonable for a good portion. The cost is an average of 6-8 GBP, although the food isn't out of this world, the service was great and a good price to keep you full for some shopping after spending the day at the British Museum.
