Best Indian In Saigon? May 10, 2008
Mumtaz is located right in backpacker area in Saigon, and one of the few causes that bring me back. Their food is superb, with their speciality being Chana Masala. Vegetarian dishes range from 35,000 to 45,000 VND, which is between 2 and 3 dollars American. Meat dishes are a little bit more, but nothing to write home about. Their breads are of the perfect consistancey and show up for 16,000 VND or a dollar, give or take.
There are other comprable Indian joints in the area, but this one still comes out on top for me. I will continue to go back again and again. They also have free delivery all over Saigon; their take-away menu states a minimum, but they don't hold to that. Enjoy! |
