Muay Thai, Lumpini Stadium Bangkok Reviews
Muay Thai, Lumpini Stadium Bangkok May 23, 2013
I've been to Bangkok twice over the past years but never had the chance to check out a Muay Thai show. So on my recent visit I didn't dare miss to book a show.
I got my tickets from Khao San Road. Tickets there are generally cheaper there. Just hop among the many travel agents lining up in Khao San Road. Apparently, they only sell ringside tickets to tourists, which is fine with me.
There were 10 scheduled fights that night. The show started 8:30 and ended half past midnight. First few fights were mainly teens and even underaged kids. It was not that brutal as I'd hope it would be, I did not see any blood. Two knockouts was in the menu for the night. The fighters start off with some sort of a ceremonial dance with five rounds of some muay thai action.
You should definitely check it out when you are in town.
