De weg valt heel erg mee. klein toyota minibusje met locals door de bergen genomen. Muang Xai is een klein provinciehoofdstadje dat helemaal is overgenomen door de chinezen die in het gebied hout kappen en rubberbomen planten.

Are we back in Bolivia??!! It sure does feel like it!! Bad roads, not so tasty food . . . where else could we be??!!
I've concluded that Laos is the Bolivia of Southeast Asia. Just my opinion, though! ;)
