Muang Ngoy is a perfect spot from where you can make trackings to smaller cummunities in the neigbourhood. You can see a cave and very beautiful landscapes with rice fields and karstmountains.
You litterly walk over small sawa dikes through the fields. It is a excellenty trip to go by boat from Luang Prabang upstream to Muang Ngoy Neua.

Chiang Khong, Thailand -› Viangphouka, Laos -› ...
Three weeks in Laos. The first week was mostly about the people; a 3 day trekking in Bokeo provence and visiting lots of villages. The second week mostly consisted of wats and jars and the 3rd week was about boats and nature with Phu Hin Bun national park and a couple of the 4000 islands.
