This place was amazing!

First of all, be sure to check your car's engine and brakes, though, for the 8-mile road (averaging 12% gradient) can put a significant strain on your vehicle. We took a Stage Van up there. the road up was a real nail biter. They told me it was scary, but this.... at the same time I liked it! You have a choice to take your own car, trip van, bike, hike up, or take cog railway. After seeing the cog railway, I decided that the next time I'm up there, I am taking it up the mountain. It's a bit expensive though.

Second of all, dress warmly!!! I was told it gets pretty cold up there, but I did not do my research. I was freezing my behind!!! The wind was even worse. Make sure you take with you long pants and a sweater.

There are not much views from the summit on most days, due to weather conditions. But on the way you can see some amazing scenery.

Being up there, really feels like you're on top of the world!
I recommend the feeling to anyone ;o)

If you have some extra time in the area, check out the amazing falls, like Arethusa falls and few others.

ENJOY!
