Beautiful mountain vista, but watch your step Dec 11, 2012
Hua shan is one of the 5 Tao holy mountains in China. You can go to the North peak by cable car, or use the hiking trail. There are 4 other taller peaks, which are reachable by trail from the north peak. Allocate at least 1 day to explore all of them. There are lodging available if you would like to spent the night, or catch the sunset/sunrise views.

There are dangerous-looking plank walk along the mountain edge. Sadly i did not have enough time to attempt this feat. These plank walk can be found at the south peak, i believe.

I went in November, so the temp is at 0 C. Melting fresh snows makes hiking especially dangerous - hiking shoes recommended.
