This hostel was created for all those ski/snowboard trips on Mt. Hood, and it's open during the winter season.
The good this about this hostel is its location: if you're arriving from Portland and don't feel like driving back at night, you can crash here for the night for a mere price of $20/night/bunk.
It's gotta be the cheapest place to stay on Mt. Hood, and its location, next to Sugar Bowl ski resort, or within a walking distance to Hwy 26, that can take you to Timberline and Meadows (ski resorts).
The hostel itself is pretty basic, with common area, a kitchen and a parking lot. No lockers, but they do got free WiFi available.
There's a curfew, which is uncool, but this can be sorted by leaving the back door unlocked, which is always is anyway.
All in all, a good place to stay for low budget multiple-day ski trips to Mt. Hood.
