Mr. B's - A Bartolotta Steakhouse - Brookfield - TravBuddy

This was a surprise for my 33rd birthday as I have always wanted to go there. I have to admit that it was a surprise because it was like nothing I had imagined.

An old settlement house with wood creaking floors. The place it every small and you have no idea what to expect when you walk into this establishment. We were in the "Red Room". However, it is well worth the time and effort!

All the attention is on you! As soon as your fork hits the plate, they whisk it away. No tap water here... bottled water from Italy in its own cooler. Want meat? They will bring you all of the different slices of meat on a display cart and explain each one in detail. Want to share your food with your date - no problem!

The sky is the limit and so is the price. It cost about $250 for the two of us and that included our two classes of wine, appetizer, main course, cappuccino, and dessert.

This is not your every day cafe - but it is wonderful for those times when life calls for celebration!
