Movenpick Hotel Egerkingen

We stayed at the beautiful Movenpick hotel in Egerkingen where you have a fantastic view towards the Swiss alps. The hotel was absolutely in the high end but I found it a bit too expensive compared to many of the other hotels I have stayed in this price catagory - not much ut just a bit.

The service was excellent as expected, everybody was nice, friendly and efficient. The rooms were nice but you could see that the hotel had some years on its back.

The breakfast was very good and the view from the restaurant was fabulous. The hotel is situated on the mountainside overlooking the valley.

The area is though somewhat of an industrial crosing between Bern, Basel and Zürich - but as all places in Switzerland the clean air is just minutes away.
