Mountway Holiday Apartments Perth

Perth will always have a special place in our hearts – such a beautiful city of warm people. And our stay was made more memorable because of Mountway (and spring).

It is a simple apartment where you can cook your own food and do your own thing, being true to its statement of ‘fully self contained’.

We were provided with kitchen, private bathroom, linen, blankets, crockery and cutlery. Television with local channels and free Movielink Digital movies as well. We don't have a car with us but they do provide free parking on site.They also have pantry shopping, wireless internet service, token operated laundry and out-door Barbecue area which is free.

A good thing about Mountway is its location. You got to see Swan River with the ferries, great view of South Perth, is walking distance to the heart of the city and the King’s Park which is an ultimate destination.

What’s better in Mountway is the feel of ‘home’ in it. In the 7 days that we stayed there, we love every minute we stayed in the place, looking forward to cooking and the warmth the place provides.

And the best thing about Mountway is the price. We booked online and we paid 89 dollars for a room good for three persons (wow, that’s only 30 per person). The price is way, way cheaper than the other places which charge 100+ per person and for bigger hotels, more expensive than that. The ambiance may not be as grand and elegant as the hotels but what was important is that we found a safe, comfortable and lovely place to stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful as well offering us directions, giving us free maps and guides. We got lost tho but that’s not their fault – we have the maps, yes but boy, it’s just too hard to interpret maps with all the dots and lines in them, hahaha… Poor Craig and Shirley (fellow Filipina), they end up giving us new maps and showing directions everyday ;-)

When I’ll get back to Perth (can’t die without going back and exploring more), I’ll definitely be going back to Mountway.
