I found the Mount Zion Hotel to be a spectacular accommodation while in Israel. A casual walk from the Holy City by way of Gehenna, its gift shop is well-stocked and reasonable, while its café is excellent--especially the view! There's also a very nice synagogue which holds sabbath services for those who wish to attend. If you're planning on visiting in the spring and summer, be sure to take advantage of the gorgeous pool and courtyard as well. Clean, kosher, and perfectly located, I simply can not say enough for this wonderful hotel! I stayed in the Mount Zion Hotel in May, 2002 and again in April, 2005.
