If you're heading to Cape Town and want luxury, this historic landmark hotel is the place. All the facilities you expect from a 5 star hotel and the location (adjacent to Kloof St) is ideal if you like to wander out and hits the bars and restaurants.

Quite possible to walk to V&A Waterfront and free limo transfer to Table Mountain means you can see all Cape Town sites from this base. A hop-on hop-off tourist bus passes close by to allow an interesting city tour and round to Camps Bay. I stayed in a suite in a converted house, one of several in a row with there own pool.

Excellent hotel.
