The mountains which separates the city Aug 27, 2007
Mount Løvstakken is the Mountain facing Ulriken. Its Bergens 3.rd highest mountain and a very the thing that is special with the mountain is that it divides the city into several parts. You can actually see 4 parts of Bergen from the top of this Mountains , which is far more than you can from ulriken
I choose a pretty wet and uneventfull hike up "Grønnstølslien", but there are more than 10 trails up løvstakken , each from a different part of the cty I see Løvstakken as an exercisemountain and not something tourists should try on walking, but you do have a nice view over the most of Bergen as the mountain separates the different boroughs in Bergen.
