The name Takatuka was inspired by the children's book Pippi Longstocking. That alone is a clue as to why the place is like it is. I'd like to write more (and long overdue!), but I only have time to say I loved staying there. It's great for the solitary traveler as well as families. Well, the weekend was here - Melanie's Bday is on Sunday the 5th and we made plans to hang out at Universal Studio's Halloween Horror Nights to celebrate the anniversary of her 25th birthday! LOL.
