Today is fathers day and unfortunately i scheduled this hike before i remebered that it was so i wasnt able to see my dad at all today. but thats okay because the hike was fun.  I picked up Cathy around 8am because Amy was still sleeping so she didnt come which was okay because we just had fun without her.  We drove up to mt charleston which took us about an hour.  we got a little lost cause we passed the road we were supposed to turn into but thats okay because thats just part...

I could not believe how beautiful it was this morning. vegas had a down pour early this morning. it also cooled down the city. i am tired of the 233123132 degree weather. this was a welcome change. i was planning to work. i said "F it". i am going to hang out outside and do errands. i wanted to hike in red rock national park which is a 20mins drive from the strip. unfortunately it was closed by 6pm.i drove to mt. charleston instead. the drive was gorgeous. these are some of the few things i l...

So I wake up at 7... yup 7am.  Body clock working a little too well.  All is quiet at Mel's house.  I'm all alone in my own room... hmmm, let's call Erik.  It was 4pm in Germany.  Blah blah blah, talk for a bit, fall back asleep around 8.  Up again at 9.  Call Erik again, then jump in the shower.  When I get out I hear Tracy and Mel talking.  Plan for the day, head to Mt. My week end started of on a friday afternoon.  After finishing work at 6pm which ofcourse included a day of school then back to work again, i got a phone call from cousin who was celebrating his birthday that night which has ofcourse slipped my mind.  So we headed of to Artisan which was the hotel in the "ghetto" in the midst of strip clubs and seedy back alleys.
