Moulin Sur Mer Reviews
Beauty In Haiti Jun 14, 2011
Who knew there could be such beauty in a country devistated by a natural disaster. But I found it.
I went to Haiti to volunteer as a nurse, and on one of my days off, me and my medical friends went to a lovely resort called "moulin sur mer" located 77km's north west of the capital of port au prince.
Its a beautiful little resort surrounded by nothing but blue ocean and lush mountainside. The beach has coarse sand but the crystal clear blue water makes up for that. There is a closed off swimming area with a water trampoline to use, as well as a clean pool if your afraid the sharks might bite!
The meals are all buffet, but are extremely good! the mix of french cuisine and carribean flavour blend well here to make a unique buffet worthy of the most sophisticated palate.
The rooms were nice, with AC, no TV, and a nice shower to use. The rooms were well made and clean as well.
AMenities were abundant! There is beach volleyball, basketball courts, 12 hole mini put, ping pong, swimming, kayaking, snorkling and i am sure i am forgetting one or two. There was beach service that brought you drinks or food.
Overall an amazing little piece of paradise that anyone in haiti should go to!
