Cruised from Sydney up eastern sea-board of Australia on Royal Caribbean "Rhapsody of the Seas" This was an 11-day cruise following the 10-day New Caledonia cruise. Ports of call were Hamilton Island, Cairns, Port Douglas, Cooktown, round Willis Island, Brisbane.Fantastic cuise except insufficient time ashore. Lots of things to see and do. The residents of Cooktown should be more prepared for 1700+ cruise passengers all looking for tours (only 1 available).

A short trip where we started in Sydney, then flew in to Cairns and drove all the way to Cooktown and back, did a liveaboard on the Great Barrier Reef then flew back to Sydney.
