Holiday at the beach Aug 14, 2011
Mossel bay is located in the garden route. On 3 February 1488 Bartolomeu Dias and his crew arrived at Mossel Bay. The Cape St Blaize Cave (34°11′09″S 22°09′26″E34.185871°S 22.157214°E) is situated directly under the Cape St Blaize Lighthouse,[10] is the site of one of South Africa’s oldest archaeological excavations. The coldest average temp is 18.2 °C and the warmest average temp is 23.5 it makes it a excellent place to visit as it never gets to warm or to cold all around Mossel bay there are small holiday towns the largest Hartenbos. Mostly Hartenbos gets Afrikaans visitors in December and April is when the region has a lot of people on holiday.
