One more day of cool coastal bliss.
Morro Bay
Again this morning the rock was covered in fog. It brought a smile to my face. At home we only get fog in the dead of winter. When the rain ends, the fog begins, and lays low on the ground all day, sometimes for days on end…

The ride to the coast is fairly easy for me. Highway 198 west to Lemoore, Highway 41 south to Cholame, and Highway 46 west to Paso Robles and on to the coast.
Much of the ride is across open land, where cattle graze. Gently rolling hills that are just a little too hilly for crops.

Driving along, we thought the stops were done, yet we passed this amaizing rocky mountain that seemed to come out of nowere in the water - we never heard of it - we had to stop and look, the pictures are just ok and it was slightly overcast, yet the sight was very interesting ! :)

We started in Ohio and went to the Northwestern states. We camped most of the way in National Parks. Drove down the Pacific coast and headed inland around L.A. California. Then we zig-zagged through AZ and up to CO. From there we headed Northeast toward home. We were on the road for about 3.5 weeks. It was a great trip!

After 5 months of being in Europe, I was able to return to my home, California for 3 great weeks. We stayed in So Cal for 12 days exploring Santa Barbara, San Diego, and LA. We then caught Southwest up to San Francisco where we spent the remainder of our trip visiting museums, mountain biking, going to the opera, taking in some football and baseball and eating the best food ever. I cried when I got on the plane to go back to Denmark. One day I'll return and when I do, I'm not going to leave.
