Very good affordable hotel in Marrakech Mar 16, 2011
We spent a week at the Moroccan House Hotel in Marrakech & found it fabulous & very good value for the price we were paying. The rooms were clean & the staff very helpful and friendly, they arranged a 4x4 trip into the Atlas Mountains for us which was great. Always helpful and funny, advising us what to see, where to go etc. The hotel breakfasts are served in a tent sort of structure on the roof, if you go early you get a wonderful spread, if you sleep in you end up with scraps. We didn't eat any other meals at the hotel so can't vouch for the restaurant. The hotel decor is beautiful, very typically Moroccan, lots of mosaic, intricate designs, even a fountain in the entrance full of rose petals.. very pretty. The hotel is central & an easy walk to the souks at Djemaa El Fna square (which is where we ate most nights), there's a swimming pool and a spa. All in all, a positive experience, we would definitely go back & stay there again.

Central and clean hotel with friendly staff Dec 22, 2010
This is a great hotel in the new part of Marrakech. Its interior design is typically Moroccan so you don't feel like you're staying in a generic and bland style hotel you can find anywhere in the world.

I was staying half board there and the evening meals were really good and enabled you to sample a range of Moroccan food. The breakfast is ok, they like to eat a lot of sweet biscuits and cakes but they do offer cereal and bread for those that don't have a sweet tooth for breakfast!

I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. It helps if you can speak some French.

Nice midprice hotel in Gueliz Feb 24, 2006
Nice hotel in Moroccon style, build like a riad. It has 50 rooms; each different from the other. I stayed here with a friend. For diner we were placed at a table with other hotelguests and we shared soup and tajine together. We really liked that because you meet all kinds of people you normally won't talk to sitting at a table for two. They don't serve alcohol but you are allowed to bring your own bottle of wine and they even open it for you (no extra costs).

The room was clean, bathroom with bath.

Staff was very friendly but spoke very little English. The hotel has its own hammam.

From here it's about 15 minutes walk to the old town.
