This Moroccan restaurant not only serves delicious food, but also cranks up the air with great entertainment. Imperial Fez is located on Peachtree Rd. When you come into the restaurant, the host will show you where you take off and deposit your footwear before entering the dining area. Then you'll be seated in a beautifully-decorated dining section, Moroccan style. Guests sit on huge, comfortable maroon cushions. The walls are covered with pretty drapes. You could order a course dinner, but when my traveling group and I were there, we opted entrees instead. The selection of Moroccan food is endless, but my favorites include grilled lamb cutlets served with saffron rice and royal couscous.
During the meal, belly dancers pay a visit to the guests sections. At the end of the sectional performance, there is one huge 'finale,' with dancers using fire in their dancing. Pretty amazing. |
