Moray Overview

Moray is a site with Inca ruins close to Maras in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The Moray is an Incan agricultural experiment. Historians presume that these concentric circles were used as terraces to test the resistance of plants on high altitudes in the Andes. his way the Incas tried to find out which crops grow best at which altitude and conditions.

In order to visit the site you need a boleto touristico. It is possible to combine the site with other attractions in the Sacred Valley such as Ollantaytambo or Pisac.
