Moose Jaw Overview

Moose Jaw is a city in south-central Saskatchewan, Canada perhaps best known for its underground tunnels. There are many rumours and tales that swirl around these tunnels, and how a certain Chicago gangster used them for rum-running in the prohibition era. This gave Moose Jaw the nickname Little Chicago.

Moose Jaw is also home to the Snowbirds (Canada's military aerobatic flight demonstration team), Mac the Moose (the World’s Largest Moose) and Temple Gardens (Canada’s largest therapeutic geothermal mineral water pool).

Maybe this is why Moose Javians, the residents of Moose Jaw, see their city as unique and quirky, and have branded it a city that is "Surprisingly Unexpected."
