Mooney Grove Park
Mooney Grove Park Reviews

One of the oldest and largest parks in the Tulare County Park system is Mooney Grove Park. It is almost a half mile long and at least that distance deep. This multipurpose park features baseball diamonds, a lagoon with paddle boat rentals, picnic shelters, and the Tulare County Museum, which contains a variety of historical exhibits relating to the area's Native American and pioneer eras. There is a usually quite a crowd at this park each weekend of the spring and summer. Large parties are one of the main uses for this huge park. There are lots of picnic shelters with benches and even BBQ pits. This is also the sight of the famous "End of the Trail" Statue. If you want a relaxing afternoon in plenty of shade, which is a really good thing in mid summer when the temperatures go well above the hundred degree mark, feeding the ducks in the large lagoon is fun.
