Moondance Pokhara Reviews
Lively and Cheerful Atmosphere Mar 17, 2011
This restaurant was recommended by the Lonely Planet Guide Book to Nepal and I can see why.. The restaurant is quite big with a beautiful wood decoration and located at the central lake side and this place is pack with people and the table setting cover with candle light, red lantern, vase and there is a separate bar area with a free wifi which is a bonus.
The waitress is attentive and quick to take order with full smile. I have a lemon chicken and chocolate crepe. The food is really define. I really love the lemon sauce and the tangy taste on it. The chicken come with a fry vegetable and mash potato on it. Nice portion and I feel wonderful after that. For Nepalise price, it is quite expensive. The total price for 1x apple juice, 1x lemon tea, lemon chicken and chocolate crepe is RS1025. I would definitely going back there as the atmosphere with lively music and food is the best. ![]()

Looking for decent food in Pokhara - try Moondance Apr 26, 2008
I have just about been to every restaurant in Pokhara and you just cannot go past this place. The management of this place is Nepali/Canadian. The menu offers great variety (both in food and price), great atmosphere and the service is great. Example of price - 100 rupees for the hugest slice of fresh apple crumble, which I might add, is to die for. ENJOY!
