Moon Cafe Reviews
MOOON CAFE Nov 22, 2008
MOOON with a triple O. It is one of the dinner/chill-out places that I would easily say yes if someone would invite me to go there or if I decide to bring some friends to this place. Situated in a quiet residential district near the Provincial Capitol before going up to Guadalupe, the original Mooon Cafe used to be an old 2-storey typical 1920s filipino middle class house converted into a Mexican-themed restobar.
There's nothing really fancy about this restaurant except that the ambiance is relaxing and is situated in a quiet corner of the city. The crowd consists mostly of urban professionals.
The food is a fusion of Filipino/Mexican food, Tex-mex, couldn't really identify.I can't say it's really Mexican. They have some rice toppings with mozarella cheese, quesadillas, chimichanggas, pizza, garlic mushrooms, pork chops, steaks, pastas, the usual basic tapas are all there. You may try their garden fruit juice, their best seller drink. You wouldn't really say wow with the food but it tastes okay. Carry lang.(just okay)
Food price is affordable and sulit(worth the price). Place is open only at dinner time 7:00pm up. One of the good places to dine and relax in Cebu for now. :)
