We got bored sitting around Upstate New York during winter, so we hit the road north and in about 6 hours of near death experiences in a snow storm, we were in Mont Royal. The dollar is so weak these days =(

Spent 6 weeks away in all traveling , Was my first time away by myself . So found it very different than passed trips away , But had the best time doing things by myself .

32 states in the US and 8 in Canada. Travelled Canada and the USA from coast to coast within five months. Travelled mostly by train, sometimes by coach. In total 33.000 km (20.000 miles). Started and ended in Toronto. Some other highlights: Montreal, Quebec, New York, Philadelpia, Chicago, Miami, New Orleans, El Paso, LA, San Fran, Yosemite, Death Valley, Vegas, Vancouver, Jasper. Experienced temperatures varying from minus 25 degrees Celsius to +30 degrees Celsius. Only shot 6000 pictures.

This was supposed to be a trip to visit universities in Canada and it turned into one big gigantic road trip. And hey, I go to school in Canada, so I guess things worked out.

I spent a week in chilly Montreal in October of 2008. It's a beautiful city. I loved the culture, the restaurants/bars, the... everything! I suggest everyone take time to go!
