Nice little bistrot May 07, 2010
This is the way to go. You should try it -- great food! Montmartre bistrot was located just a block across from the Eastern Market Metro Station, Washington DC. A more laidback environment and no reservation was required (well, at least when I came to dine). I really enjoyed the culinary experience with this cute bistrot. I ordered pan-seared scallops with black truffle and sautéed endives and fennel, which I enjoyed very much together with a fine rosé. No dessert because I was too full, but a nice cup of tea was nice.

I recommend this little place, especially when you find it hard to locate a good, reasonable restaurant in DC. It is just within-Metro-riding distance and worth a try.

They have excellent brunch too! And their sister restaurant, 7th Hill Pizza, right next door, is AMAZING.
