Montego Bay Vacation Guide
Montego Bay is one of two major cities on the island of Jamaica to have an international airport (the other is Kingston). It is on the northwest side of the island in close proximity to popular tourist destinations such as Negril and Ocho Rios. It's also one of the major ports for cruise ships and other commerce.
The city has a mix of complete westernization (KFCs & Burger Kings) and untouched natural beauty. There is a full array of shopping, dining and nightlife choices and one of the popular destinations for both locals and tourists happens to be Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. Then of course there are the beaches and the lush green foliage everywhere. White sands, clear to turquoise waters and coconut trees abound. If you can't find a place to relax in this area, then you just can't relax!

We woke up to our usual routine of breakfast before hitting the beach. We planned a more active day than the previous day so we enjoyed the water after breakfast and went into the pool on the other side of the resort. A game of chess exercised our brain for 15 minutes before Finelle and I - eventua…
