Monster Hostel Belgrade Reviews
Brilliant hostel in Belgrade, walkable distance from the centre and handy for bus and train stations Sep 18, 2007
Monster Hostel is on a fairly quiet street just a few blocks from the train/bus station. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the centre, or there are plenty of buses passing that you can take. It's also a walkable distance to Sveti Sava (the giant Orthodox church) and the Nikola Tesla museum (inventor and electrical engineering genius).
The owner, Bojan if I remember correctly, is often there and is a really laid back guy, really friendly and helpful with information to get around. He often puts movies on when there are people in the lounge. The rest of the staff are also generally very helpful and welcoming.
The night was 12 Euros or so for the dorm, which is nice and clean and comfortable.
I really enjoyed my stay there, felt sad to leave.
