Here are some top cities to visit in Northwest Sicily.
The photo viewed here is the Cathedral of Palermo or its official name Santa Maria Assunta. Formally a Mosque then converted to a Christian cathedral after the Arabs where defeated by the Norman Count Count Roger I. It is an magnificent structure with an equally magnificient interior.
