Mono Hot Springs Reviews

My stay at Mono Hot Springs was very enjoyable
The road into Mono Hot Springs was very rough and only 1 lane in a lot of places so it was surprising to see so many RVs on the road.
My first night at the camp site I was introduced to a local Bear. My camping neighbours were trying to scare it away but it did not move, so my neighbours moved!
As if the Bear could not walk to their new location.
So that left me all on my own, never mind I did not mind having extra company around.
The camp host was called, and she thought, like I did, that having the Bear around was nice.
There are Bear lockers provided so as long as everything is stored in the locker you should be right, unless they just want to play with humans
This was my wilderness trip
The drive to this place was over a high pass that still had snow on it, it was often a one lane so had to back up and let several car passed.
But once at the Mono Hot Springs the trip was well worth the effort
My first day in the camp I was introduced to the local black bear.
The campsite neighbours took exception to the close proximity of the bear and when the could not shoo it away they packed up there tent and went to where there were more people, just leaving me on my own.
