The trees surrounding the caves are full of monkeys. Almost all of them are accustomed to humans. They will not hesitate to grab anything eatable out of your hands. So make sure you keep fruits, biscuits, etc out of their sights.

Otherwise, watching them is a delight - especially for children. They are entirely harmless until someone tries to harm them.

Note: Monkeys are considered holy in such places.
