If you want to try something else than Kebab or Hamburgers in Bergen and still dont want to use a small fortune i can recomend Mongolian Barbeque. Lying right next to the Buss station "galleriet" and the "blue rock".
This is as the name implies a Asian resturant. If you arrive before 22 (or 23.00) you can pay for the buffet and eat all you want for around 150kr. (last time i was there). Just choose the raw ingredients you want and the chef will fry it for you in 5minuttes. The food is good and tasty. Perhaps not "five-star" ,but absolutely worth a try if you are in Bergen., but beware of the spices ;) . You can combine lamb, pork, beef, chicken, vegetables and sauces to suit your own taste .Serves some norwegian and a few asian beers. A price for a normal dinner and drinks is around 250kr pr person , which is around 45USD. Worth a try in the centre of Bergen! |
