Mondial Langenfeld Hotel Dusseldorf

Well this was the cheapest hotel I could find in Düseldorf. I found it believe it or not through hotels.com at a mear 32 euros pr night including a rather good continental breakfast.

I arrived in düsseldorf on the 19.th in at 07.00 in the morning. Nprmal check in time at almost all hotels in the world are between 14.00 and 16.00 o ´clock but I thought that 6 hours was a little to much time for me to kill and after 12 hours in a train I could really need some rest since I was meeting up with friends at 12 o´clock. So decided to walk the 5 min down to the hotel crossing my fingers that I could check in 6 hours earlier and maybe paying a bit ekstra for it.
And when I showed at the front desk asking her if I could check in earlier she looked at the guestlist and without hesitation checked me in... and that was totally free of charge!!! now thats pretty good..

On the day that I was leaving I had been out the night before with buddys drinking a bit to much. I came home close to 05.00 and check out time was at 12 o´clock, but I woke at 1:30 by someone opening the door to the room and I thought DAMN... now they are gonna charge for a whole day.. But I packed my stuff and got ready and was at the frontdesk at 14.00 trying still to check out without any ekstra cost, the guy at the desk said that they had tried waking me up for a long time but without any luck... hahahah kinda funny I thought!!

I ofcourse apologized to the gentleman and he said that it was no problem and I was checked without any further costs!!!

So yet again I was lucky!!

I had a nice small single room with a good bathroom and a shower. It was clean and had no bad smells or anything. I even managed to find some wireless network at the room I stayed at (AWESOME)

So if my path should take me by these parts again and Im looking for a cheap place to stay.. Then I would probably choose Hotel Mondial again. It is a good bargain when you get the low rate!!

Compared to the other sites I looked before coming here 44 euros was the cheapest hotel I found in Düsseldorf.
