Mondello Vacation Guide
Mondello is a quiet fishing village just 20 minutes away from Palermo center. During the summers it's beach is crowded by locals, and is quite the sight to see! Jutting out of the island on the Northwest, Mondello is situated between Monte Gallo and Monte Pellegrino both of which make for a beautiful backdrop.
You can easily walk from one end of the beach to the other and for the adventurer there is a place to ride horses as well as a way to walk up the curvy roads that lead up to the summit of Monte Pellegrino.
